AGC Houston 2006 APEX Award Winners Announced
More than 800 members of the Houston commercial construction industry celebrated project of the past two years and honored Archbishop Emeritus Joseph A. Fiorenza at the AGC APEX 7 Gala.
USGBC Partners with Clinton Climate Initiative
The AGC Houston Chapter recently held its annual APEX Award
Gala. The program, held in mid-September, honored 18 projects
in the general contracting category and 12 projects in the
specialty-contracting category. As well, the Master Builder
Award was given to Archbishop Emeritus Joseph A. Fiorenza.
During his tenure as Archbishop of the Houston-Galveston Archdiocese,
more than $475 million in construction projects were put in
place. Currently, the diocese has $150 million in projects
in various planning stages scheduled for construction over
the next five years. The diocese will complete the construction
on the new Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral in Houston next year.
