Linbeck CEO Recognized as Outstanding
Alumni
Charles Greco was honored by Texas
A&M for professional leadership.
Charles "Chuck" L. Greco,
president and CEO of Linbeck Group LP, has been named one
of the College of Architecture Outstanding Alumni at Texas
A&M University. Greco received his bachelor's of science
in building construction from A&M in 1978. The award recognizes
and honors former students for excellence in professional
leadership and contribution to society.
An avid supporter of the College of Architecture at A&M,
Greco has served as president of the Department of Construction
Science's Construction Industry Advisory Council and currently
serves on the executive committee of the Dean's Advisory Council
for the School of Architecture.
Greco is a San Antonio native and presently serves on the
Board of Directors of the Houston Chapter of the AGC, is past
president of the Fort Worth chapter and board member of QUOIN.
He recently accepted the AGC national director position.
Wendy Burke had joined Linbeck
Group LP as manager, client development for the Houston region.
Burke's experience includes project management, business development
and marketing. She will work directly with new and existing
clients to develop the process and organizational structure
to support a successful project and achieve clients' objectives.
Burke came to Linbeck with a track record of success in strategic
planning, targeted growth strategies, brand management and
R&D portfolio management.
Burke is a graduate of Brown University with a bachelor's
of arts in political science and business economics and an
MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
David Goetz has been appointed
vice president of business development and estimating for
San Antonio-based M.J. Boyle General Contractor Inc. Goetz
previously served as estimator and project manager for the
company.
With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Goetz's
estimating responsibilities include providing pre-construction
services, estimating and negotiating contracts to budget projects
and tracking cost history. Additional responsibilities include
new business development with owners and architects and company
promotion and branding.
Goetz graduated from Trinity University with a bachelor's
of science degree in homebuilding.
Centex Construction's Dallas/Fort Worth Metro Division promoted
three key management team members. Mark
Bradley joined Centex Construction in 2001 as a project
manager and has been promoted to vice president of operations.
Bradley has executive oversight of multiple construction projects,
including Centex Homes vertical mid- to high-rise condominium
developments in California, Washington and Nevada. He has
more than 20 years of construction industry experience and
is a 1984 graduate of Texas A&M University. Ed
Prendergast has been promoted to vice president of
preconstruction. Prendergast began his career at Centex Construction
in 1980 as an estimator and returned to Centex Construction
in 2002 as a preconstruction manager. His recent focus has
primarily included health-care projects across the United
States. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi
in 1980. Pleas Mitchell, who
began his career at Centex Construction in 1989, has been
promoted to vice president of operations. Pleas will act as
the officer-in-charge of several local projects, including
the Azure, a high-rise luxury residential tower, Friendship
West Baptist Church and the Joule Hotel. Pleas recently served
as vice president of preconstruction and has been instrumental
in the project management of several Dallas landmarks such
as the JPMorgan International Plaza phases one, two and three.
Pleas is a 1985 graduate of Southern Methodist University.
