Bartlett Cocke Appoints New President,
Officers
Also, Linbeck, Walter P Moore,
Raba-Kistner, and Pate Engineers announce new hires, promotions.
Bartlett Cocke General Contractors
recently announced that Randy Pawelek,
a 25-year employee of the firm, has been promoted to president.
Duane Pozza made the announcement.
Pozza previously held the title in addition to being company
chairman and CEO. The firm appointed four other executives
to the officer group. Bill Gellhausen
was named chief financial officer, Jerry
Hoog was promoted to vice president/operations for
the San Antonio region, Steve McCleskey
to vice president/operations for the Austin region, and Kirk
Kistner to vice president of marketing and business
development. Pawelek joined the company in 1981 and has more
than 30 years of experience in the construction industry.
He graduated from Texas State University with an industrial
arts degree. Gellhausen, a certified public accountant, joined
the company in 1999 and has more than 20 years experience
in financial accounting and construction bonding. He holds
a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Mary's University
and a master's in business administration from The University
of Texas at San Antonio. Hoog came to Bartlett Cocke in 1983
after graduating from Texas A&M with a bachelor's degree
in engineering technology. In his new role, he will oversee
all construction operations for San Antonio and South Texas.
McClesky has a bachelor's and a master's degree in building
construction from Texas A&M and more than 30 years of
experience in the Texas construction industry. Kistner joined
the company in 2000 as manager of preconstruction services.
He has more than 20 years experience in the commercial construction
industry and is a graduate of Texas A&M with a bachelor's
degree in building construction.
Linbeck recently announced
the following promotions and new hires: David
Stueckler was promoted to executive vice president
and regional general manager in charge of operations in Fort
Worth, Dallas, Memphis and Northern California. Stueckler,
a 24-year employee of Linbeck, previously served as vice president
and client executive for Houston. Manuel
Colaco was named senior vice president and director
of risk management. He previously served as vice president.
Colaco joined Linbeck in 1979 and is responsible for managing
all corporate-risk-management functions and individual project
policies. John Go was promoted
to vice president and client executive from team manager.
He has more than 25 years of multifaceted experience that
includes the project management of large, complex buildings.
John Barnes was promoted to
vice president and client executive from senior project manager.
Barnes is responsible for all Linbeck services including all
aspects of assessments and preconstruction through project
execution and closeout. He has more than 18 years of commercial
construction experience in construction management and supervision.
Craig Fredrickson and Joel
Kaufman were promoted to client executive from senior
team manager and development manager. Bill
Bailey was promoted to senior team manager from team
manager. Lloyd Nakayama has
joined Linbeck as client executive and development manager
for the Houston region. Also, Linbeck announced the following
employees have received LEED AP designation: John
Barnes, Jeff Bryson,
Bruce Cooper, Craig
Fredrickson, John Go,
John Hargrove, Michael
Moore and George Watts.
Walter P Moore recently announced
that Ernest L. Fields, P.E.,
has been promoted to managing director of civil engineering
for the firm's Dallas office. Fields has more than 13 years
of experience in civil engineering design for private and
municipal projects. He has specialized in the design of a
wide variety of retaining walls, channel drainage improvements
and stormwater systems.
Mayor Oscar Trevino, of the
city of North Richland Hills and president of J.L.
Steel LP, a heavy-highway contractor based in Roanoke,
was recently elected president of the North Central Texas
Council of Governments 2006 - 2007 executive board. He was
also named chair of the Tarrant Regional Transportation Coalition
and vice chair of the Regional Transportation Council. Trevino
has served on NCTCOG's executive board since 2003 as a director,
secretary/treasurer and vice president. Since 1999 he has
served on the city council in North Richland Hills. He was
first elected as a council member and became mayor in 2002.
He holds a bachelor's of science in civil engineering from
Texas A&M University and is a registered professional
engineer.
Pate Engineers Inc.
recently announced that Lisa L. Ruth,
director of marketing for the firm, has been selected to serve
on the Transportation Committee and Public Relations Committee
for the 2006-2007 term for the American
Council of Engineering Companies. Ruth joined PATE
in 2003. The firm also announced it has hired David R. Balli,
P.E., as vice president of transportation services. Balli's
career includes 28 years with TxDOT.
Raba-Kistner recently announced
that Robert R. Costigan, Ph.D.,
P.E., has joined the firm as senior vice president, chief
operating officer and member of its board of directors. Costigan
replaces Gary W. Raba, D.Eng.,
P.E., who was transferred as president and chief operating
officer of the firm's Infrastructure subsidiary. Costigan
brings more than thirty years of consulting and management
experience with national engineering firms with multiple offices.
Also joining Raba-Kistner is Wentao
"Brian" Pan has joined the firm as database
manager in the firm's information technology department. Pan
received a bachelor's of arts in international economics and
trade from the University of International Business and Economics
in Beijing, China and a master's of science in computer information
systems from the University of Houston.
